Update on anal fistula in German shepherd dog

Just want to let all know that LDN works wonders in controlling anal fistulas, at least in this case. Dog was able to wean off the cyclosporin in a month by using 3.0mg LDN every night after 9pm, and stools returned to normal and he finally was able to gain 30 lbs to be the normal weight for his breed. His fur also became much nicer. LDN has controlled his liquid stool for over two years now, and no new fistulas. When his new skeptical physician caretaker just tried taking him off the LDN for three days, the diarrhea returned with a vengeance. Lesson learned! I hope to talk her into using LDN with her human patients!
